Neem Oil For Plants

Neem Oil For Plants

Neem oil is a popular organic plant care product that is made from the neem tree. The oil has been used for centuries by Indian farmers to protect their crops against pest infestations.

Neem is a non-toxic and natural pesticide that can be used for killing insects, pests, and fungi. It is toxic to most pests, but not harmful to humans or other animals. It’s an all-purpose solution for your plant’s pest problems. Neem also breaks down rapidly in the environment, which means it can biodegrade quickly. This makes it an appealing choice for organic farmers who are looking for an alternative to chemical pesticides.

Neem is an all-purpose solution for your plant’s pest and disease problems and it is available in a variety of forms: neem oil, neem leaf extract, neem seed kernel extract, and more.

Azadirachtin has some very potent insecticidal properties which make the product effective on both insects and mites that cause powdery mildew on leaves. It also keeps away aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leafminers and mealybugs from damaging the leaves of your plants.

How To Use Neem For Plants

The neem oil can be applied with a sprayer, pump up sprayer, or mist blower that you attach to the end of your hose. You soak your plants with water first before spraying on the neem oil mixture

  1. Mix 1 – 2 tbsp of neem oil, 1 tsp liquid soap, and warm water in a spray bottle
  2. Shake very well to dissolve and mix the oil with the water
  3. Spray on the leaves, make sure to spray the under side of the leaves as well
