How To Use Neem For Plants
Neem is a natural insecticide and pesticide, which should be mixed with water for spraying. Mixing neem leaves or neem oil with water is effective in protecting plants from soil-born insects, leaf-eating insects, sap-sucking insects, fruit flies, etc.
The neem oil can be applied with a sprayer, pump up sprayer, or mist blower that you attach to the end of your hose. You soak your plants with water first before spraying on the neem oil mixture
- Mix 1 – 2 tbsp of neem oil, 1 tsp liquid soap, and warm water in a spray bottle
- Shake very well to dissolve and mix the oil with the water
- Spray on the leaves, make sure to spray the under side of the leaves as well
